It is with pleasure that I provide Patrick Duffy with an outstanding review. He is very personable, professional, flexible. and creative. I enjoyed his patience and sense of humor. I can become overwhelmed when dealing with major events and he helped to reassure me that he had my back and that goals would be accomplished. In fact I think he has the patience of a saint!!! Patrick clearly had our needs in mind and the ability to think outside the box. For example, we had initially planned to hire a company for $500 to come into condo and clear it out and clean it. We live in Tennessee and it was not convenient for us to travel back to Chicago to move all items from our condo. Patrick asked the buyer if he would ok if we left items behind which buyer was very ok with! This saved us $. Also, many of items in condo were put on a garage sale and a few personal items were held until we could make it back to Chicago. We made $200 on garage sale and a few personal items were held for us until we return to Chicago. Patrick orchestrated this transition which we appreciate greatly. He worked very hard physically taking out many items from condo for garage sale and to hold personal items. Patrick went way above and beyond expectations and deserves the highest rating possible. I know 2 other families who have had a very similar experience . This includes buying places as well as selling. Bravo for Patrick! Can’t you hear the trumpets fanfare?

Just wanna give a shout out to Patrick Duffy, our one of a kind realtor who helped us find our home, via Baird & Warner!!! Patrick and I started randomly chatting maybe two years ago when all I had was questions and questions and no guarantee that we would buy a house with him. I was looking at buildings, condos, town homes, move in ready, fixer uppers, everything within a 30 mile radius. We only communicated via email for about a year or year and a half-with no guarantee that we would actually buy a home. Not an easy feat! In the beginning of this year we finally met in person, went hunting for numerous different homes and locations and he stayed flexible, informative and advocated for us the entire time. He ran comps for us everywhere we went and he is knowledge enough to also inform us about things in the house that Steve and I would have never known ourselves. Picking the house you're planning to spend the rest of your life in is not an easy decision. We wanted to be sure we explored every option available and saw everything each area had to offer. Over the course of a few weeks Pat must have taken us to see 40 different houses across Park Ridge, Edison Park, Noridge Park, Sauganash, Evanston, Oak Park, River Forest, and more. He organized the tours around our schedule and made himself available day and night for questions. Even more impressive, he put together detailed analyses of various areas when we were close to making an offer; this gave us a great view into other transactions in the area and made us feel confident in the prices. For both the house we purchased as well as several others we considered, Pat's estimates were within percentage points of the final closing price, so there is no doubt his analyses were both accurate and incredibly helpful.
The Sale:
Selling a house is incredibly stressful given that extracting maximum value for the property is usually essential to purchasing the next. As great as Pat was during our purchase, his sales acumen during this process is what sets him apart. He was essentially the project manager for our sale, working to find contractors and well as hire and supervise their repainting our unit, refinishing of our floors , and cleaning our building. There is little doubt his effort in these areas not only relieved stress from us, but also helped us sell our condo in 4 days and for 99% of list price. As with the purchase he was available day and night to answer questions and made sure we were confident and happy with all of our decisions.
I wholeheartedly recommend Pat Duffy for any real estate transaction and if we're ever able to purchase another house there is no doubt we'll be using his services again.
